A "Hard Hand" is a hand in which you use the ace card as 1, instead of 11. Having an ace is great because an ace and a 6 = 17, so you can hit and try to get a low card. If you get a 9 you would normally bust, but you can use the ace as 1 and 1 + 6 + 9 = 16 which isn't too bad. If you use the ace as 11, that's called a "Soft Hand".
When you say "Hit", in blackjack gambling you are requesting another card from the dealer, so don't say "hit" unless you're totally positive you want another card.
A "Push" happens when you and the dealer both have the same total, nobody wins because it's a tie. If this happens, you keep your bet, not loss no gain.
Saying "Stand" or "Stay" means you're done taking cards and you're ready for the dealer to reveal his cards. You should usually stand when you have a hand of 17 to 20, as this is likely to win.
